Our history
We opened our doors in 1961 and have cared for Lakewood families ever since. Neighborhoods have changed, but the reason people come to us has stayed the same: they want to feel better, move better, and get back to living without something holding them back.
Today we are still a straightforward, community-rooted office — easy to reach, easy to park at, and focused on the care itself.
What we believe
True health starts with a properly functioning nervous system. Your brain communicates with every organ, muscle and cell in your body through the spinal cord and the nerves that branch from it. When that communication is clear, your body is remarkably good at healing, adapting, and performing.
Structural shifts in the spine — what chiropractors call vertebral subluxations — interfere with those messages. The interference may be subtle at first. You may not feel it as pain; you may simply feel less like yourself, or notice that your body does not bounce back the way it once did.
The point is that there is interference
Many people think they are fine because they are not in pain. But the nervous system does not always announce interference loudly. It can show up as fatigue, poor sleep, slower recovery, digestive issues, or just a sense that you are not functioning at your best.
The real question is not whether you hurt today. It is whether your nervous system is working without interference. That is what we look for, and that is what we correct.
How we practice
Our approach is specific. We evaluate your structure to locate those shifts, and with instrumentation we determine if an adjustment is needed. We then apply careful, targeted adjustments to correct them and reduce interference in your nervous system. We are not trying to cover up a signal your body is sending — we are trying to remove the reason it is sending it.
We use thermography for instrumentation before and after the adjustment to monitor how well you are adapting. When your nervous system is clear of interference, you do not need an adjustment. Without that objective check, chiropractic care becomes little more than spinal manipulation — and that is not how we work.
Chiropractic, done this way, is about more than temporary symptom relief. It is about helping people express their full health potential — at every age and every stage of life.
“Is your structure normal?” Your health is too important to ignore.
